What We Offer
Features
Off-grid Option
Our sauna is designed to offer a fully off-grid experience, featuring a battery-powered water pump, onboard water tank for the shower, solar powered lighting, and a traditional wood-fired burner.
For remote locations, we can also pump water directly from a nearby river or stream, allowing you to enjoy the sauna experience almost anywhere.
Hiring
Your sauna hire includes all essential equipment for a comfortable and relaxing experience, including sitting towels (6 per booking), stools, bucket & ladle, firewood, kindling, natural fire starters, lighting, steps, and the outdoor shower setup.
Once the sauna is fully set up and ready to use, we leave you to enjoy your private sauna sessions and return at the end of your booking to collect the sauna.
Delivery
We deliver the sauna directly to your chosen location anywhere within the Wairarapa region, placing it in an accessible area to provide a hassle-free, private relaxation experience from the moment you book.
Woodburing Fire
Our sauna is heated by a traditional wood-burning fire, creating an authentic and deeply relaxing sauna experience. Volcanic sauna stones sit above the firebox, allowing you to pour water over them to create soft, soothing steam and gentle heat throughout the sauna.
We use specially sized mānuka firewood, chosen for its clean, consistent burn and ability to efficiently heat the sauna to the ideal temperature, along with natural fire starters to make lighting the fire simple and hassle-free.
Showering
The sauna also features a shower located on the front deck, offering hot water before your sauna session and a refreshing way to cool down between rounds.
Enjoy the shower directly on the deck, or use the removable shower head to rinse off beside the sauna for a more open outdoor experience.
Seating
Our sauna comfortably seats up to 6 people, or 4 people with extra space to relax. The spacious bench seating allows up to 2 people to lie down and fully enjoy the sauna experience.
Included are two handcrafted wooden headrests for added comfort, place a towel over them to create the perfect place to unwind during your session.
We also provide two small stools, for use as footrests while relaxing, or as lower seating options for those who prefer a cooler temperature within the sauna.

Packages
1 Day Hire
1 Day Hire is the minimum package we offer.
Sauna will be delivered to your site or home at 10.30am on your chosen date and picked up on the following morning at 9am.
Weekend Hire
Weekend hire is a 2 day hire, Sauna will be delivered on a Saturday at 10.30am an picked up on the following Monday 9am.
1 Week Hire
7-day hire is the longest package we offer. The sauna will be delivered and set up on your chosen start date at 10.30am, and picked up at 9am once your booking has ended, we will return midway through the week to restock firewood, towels and batteries.

Sauna Etiquette

Shower before entering and always sit or recline on a clean towel.

Make sure to be well hydrated and replenish fluids after your session.

Maintain a comfortable heat between 65°C and 85°C, adjusting to your preference (to hot- open the door or to cold stoke the fire up and use vents as needed to even out the temp).

Begin with shorter sessions, allowing your body time to adapt.

Have a shower and a break when needed.

When adding water to the stones, pour slowly and sparingly using a ladle. If sharing the space, extend the courtesy of asking first.

Dress as you feel comfortable - swimwear or natural (as this is a private booking sauna it is up to you).

Remove jewelry as metal will heat up.

Please do not take electronics into the sauna.

Above all, listen to your body, and step out when needed.

Please do not heat the Sauna over 100 degrees.
